Founding members: Diane Ballard, AIA and Lydia Morales founded Ballard & Morales Consulting, Inc. in 2005. They have over 30 years combined experience in architectural design, consulting and project management. Since the mid-1990’s, much of their professional experience has been dedicated to providing consulting services to developers, general contractors, architects, attorneys, subcontractors and homeowners involved in construction defect litigation. With prior experience in more than 350 construction-related projects combined, they are highly qualified to identify and resolve the construction and design deficiencies that can often lead to litigation.
Diane Ballard is an architect licensed in the State of California (C19087), the State of Nevada (8834) and the State of Arizona (C45249). She has over 20 years of professional experience providing architectural design, construction documents and construction contract administration services. In addition, she has provided consulting services for construction defect investigations, including visual inspections, intrusive testing, repair recommendations and preparation of detailed repair construction documents. Ms. Ballard is a designated architectural expert and has prepared deposition and trial exhibits for numerous projects. Currently Ms. Ballard is the President of Ballard & Morales Consulting, Inc.
Lydia Morales is a Certified Building Inspector (B5) and a Certified Residential Building Inspector (B1) with the International Code Council (ICC). Since 1995, Ms. Morales has been a project manager for a variety of construction-related projects throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. Services have been provided for developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, homeowner associations, and individual homeowners. These services include field investigations, mediation appearance, and deposition and trial preparation. Currently Ms. Morales serves as Senior Project Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Ballard & Morales Consulting, Inc.
